I ghost-wrote this letter that threaded the needle by both contributing to the public discourse and quietly promoting Hampshire. Full credit: as usual I adapted words and concepts from my president’s various speeches. The Times accepted this letter the day I sent it. One of my early priorities at Hampshire was to nurture our one-person media shop, which turned out to earn more positive press than at any time since Hampshire’s celebrated opening in 1970.
